Dear BC Modern Language Teachers, I’m writing to extend an invitation to our upcoming Global Education Symposium which we are holding in partnership with the Educational Leadership and Management Program at UBC. Lorraine Richards of Ontario facilitated at last year's BCATML conference, and she is one of the founding teachers behind Projet à Québec in the Ontario Modern Language Teachers' Association. Lorraine will be presenting a session at our Symposium, on connecting language and culture for the global citizen. This is a free one day professional learning opportunity designed for educators who share a common goal of helping to engage and prepare students to become successful citizens of the world.
Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (PDT) The Nest 6133 University Boulevard University of British Columbia Vancouver Canada I’ve attached a link for you to RSVP and to learn more about the day. - Joanna Cotton, EF Tours Canada eftours.ca/bcglobaleducation
